In 2003, Shanghai Dean Electrical Co., Ltd. was established and began the R&D of enamelled wire testing instruments. In 2004, Dean launched the first enamelled wire TAN DELTA tester in China with completely independent intellectual property rights. Up to now, Dean instruments have covered all the test performance of enamelled wire. In 2019, Dean Group launched new energy vehicle motor testing system EVT531, flame retardant performance tester. Dean Group is actively exploiting the new fields.
In the field of electrical insulation, Dean Group also realizes the layout. In 2004, Shanghai SINO Insulation Material Co., Ltd. was established, passed ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 system certification successively. The company develops and produces insulating sleevings and flexible composite materials, which are widely used in F class and H class motors and transformers. The products have been certified by UL, Compliance with RoHS Directive, and have been certified as F class, H class and N class insulation systems (UL file number: E338556). The "one-stop service" mode for insulation material which is advocated by Dean Group, shortens the R&D cycle for customers and improves the procurement efficiency, is well recognized by customers.
In the field of testing services, Dean Group established Shanghai BYT Testing Service Co., Ltd. in 2013. BYT is qualified and authorized by CMA and is also a laboratory accredited by China National Accreditation Service for conformity assessment (CNAS). BYT provides professional inspection and testing services to the society, enterprises and institutions, and issues third-party inspection reports. The testing services cover enamelled wire, electrical materials, new energy vehicle motor and etc., evaluation for electrical properties, mechanical properties, flame retardant, environmental tests, RoHs compliance and etc.
